I believe in “paying it forward” in my personal and professional life and that our mission in life is to leave the world a better place than we find it--regardless of the size of our sphere of influence. “Go forth into the world in peace. Be strong and of good courage. Hold fast to that which is good. Render to no one evil for evil; strengthen the fainthearted; help the afflicted; honor all the children of God.”
“When love and skill work together, expect a masterpiece. The highest reward for your toil is not what you get for it, but what you become by it.” ~John Ruskin (1819-1900)
More than 20% of Arizona’s children live in poverty with devastating long-term effects! Kitchen on the Street fills the gap in providing food assistance for after school, weekends, and holidays for children in our community who go hungry at night. “We must look out, and be the voice, for those in our society who are the powerless, the children and elderly.”
