Diagnostik, Therapie, und Rehabilitation von Rückenproblemen aus der Sicht einer Physiotherapeutin Pferde Schwerpunkt: Rehabilitation von Pferden mit Rückenproblemen Fortbildungsveranstaltung der Arbeitsgruppe Pferd Akademie für Tierartztliche Fortbildung und die Deutsche Reiterliche Vereinigung. Dr. Heinrichs was interviewed for an article on Physical Therapy in The Horse publication.

From 2001-2003 I served as the educational chair for the Animal Physical Therapist Special Interest Group of the American Physical Therapy Association. My goal as I planned the annual meetings was to provide a structured, progressive format for clinicians interested in veterinary rehabilitation to obtain an introduction to the knowledge they will need to acquire in order to provide the best care to our animal friends. Since evidence-based practice is crucial in advancing the body of knowledge in an area, the primary annual meeting of the Animal Physical Therapist SIG serves as the best forum for sharing knowledge about clinical case reports and basic/applied research work.
