Dr. Kristinn Heinrichs, PhD, PT, SCS, ATC, CSCS has over 24 years experience working with recreational to elite level athletes at the collegiate to international levels of competition. Her unique background encompasses exercise physiology, conditioning for performance, injury prevention, and orthopedic rehabilitation. Dr. Kristinn Heinrichs holds a BSPT from Marquette University and graduate degrees in sports medicine and exercise physiology from the University of Virginia, is a Diplomate in Sports Physical Therapy (ABPTS), a certified athletic trainer, and NSCA certified strength and conditioning specialist. Dr. Heinrichs utilizes a variety of orthopedic manual physical therapy approaches (Butler, McKenzie, Cyriax, Mulligan, Travell, among others) to restore normal joint motion and function to improve athletic performance. She has been a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and the European College of Sport Science where her special interests include bridging the gap between exercise scientists and coaches in applying the latest research in biomechanics, exercise physiology, and motor control to the clinical and coaching environments. Dr. Heinrichs is a highly-respected international author and educator with over 70 publications and workshops presented in North America, Europe, South America, Australia, and Asia.
